Fort Collins, formerly of Mesa, Az and Western Springs, Ill.
Beloved wife of Howard, who passed away in 2017.
Mother of Karen (Dennis) Greer and Dick (Jody) Johnson.
Grandmother of Chris (Kate) Greer, Brett (Mariah) Greer, and Allison (Brian) Potts.
Great Grandmother of Bladen, Quincy, Gracie, and Mack.
Marilyn lived a wonderful life. With modest childhood beginnings on an Illinois farm during the depression, she met her lifelong partner at Chicago high school. She married Howard after WWII in 1947. Their marriage lasted 70 years until he died in 2017.
Their life travels took them to all 50 states, Europe, and Central America.
Marilyn's greatest role in life was motherhood and the imprint she (and dad) left on family.
We will deeply miss you Mom, until we are together again.
