Marion E. Brown, 69 of Ft. Collins died January 25, 2015. Marion was born April 8, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland to William Anton and Ruth Lehmann Brown.
Marion worked as; Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Estes Park during the Big Thompson Flood, Manager, Stanley Hotel, Assistant Director, Colorado Springs Chamber, Executive Director, Volunteer Center of Memphis, Executive Director, Wichita Festivals, Inc., and worked in Indianapolis with the Indianapolis Ballet and the Sycamore School for Gifted Children, Larimer Coral, and as CASA's Executive Director. She enjoyed horses, exploring the Rocky Mountains, volunteering, personal coaching, and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Shen Adams Gruber of Ft. Collins, Kalen Adams Gruber of San Francisco, California; a sister Barbara Louise Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one brother, Donald Joseph Brown of Cascade, Colorado, and three grandchildren.
Preceding Marion in death are her parents; and a brother, David Clayton Brown.
A private family service will be held at Lake Isabelle, Colorado..
