Maria Elvira Rodriguez

Maria Elvira Rodriguez, 86, of Fort Collins, died September 13, 2014 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Rodriguez was born October 15, 1927 in Capulin, Colorado to Delfino and Della Gallegos. Maria married Manuel L. Rodriguez, Sr. on May 29, 1953 in Capulin, Colorado. Mrs. Rodriguez was a member of Annunciation Chapel and a member of the Third Order. Survivors include her husband, Manuel; sons, Leon Rodriguez of Fort Collins, Manuel J. Rodriguez, Jr. of Festus, Missouri, Julian Rodriguez of Henderson, Colorado and Delfino Rodriguez of Fort Collins; daughter, Sue Mallett of Fort Collins; various brothers, and sisters; eighteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceding Maria in death are her parents; children, Bernie and Jenny Rodriguez; and three brothers. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
