Maria P. Brown

Maria P. Brown, 97, of Ft. Collins died April 10, 2014 at a local nursing home. Maria was born July 20, 1916 in Nikolsk-Ussurisk, Russia to Paul Podoliak and Feokla Nedelelka Podoliak. Maria married Robert E. Brown on January 7, 1949 in Shanghei, China. They moved to Ft. Collins 61 years ago. Maria was a housewife who loved to play bingo. She enjoyed gardening and her family. Survivors include her son Victor J. Brown and his wife Carla of Palmer Lake, Colorado; a daughter, Loretta J. Baker of Tacoma, Washington, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Preceding Maria in death are her parents; husband, Robert; a son, Andy, and her six siblings. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m., at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. .
