Margaret Johanna Wegner

Margaret Johanna Wegner, 89, of Fort Collins, died March 15, 2013 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Wegner was born December 22, 1923 in Germany to Franz and Johanna Klingberg Margaret married Bruno Wegner on January 1946 in Germany. Mrs. Wegner lived most of her life in Fort Collins. Margaret loved dancing, knitting, and bowling. Margaret was a lifelong member of the VFW. Survivors include her sons, Manfred Georgia, Hans, Wolfgang Linda Wegner all of Fort Collins; daughters, Helen Bock Todd of Delta, Colorado, and sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Preceding Margaret in death are her husband, Bruno Wegner; son, Peter Wegner; brothers, Kurt and Gerhardt Klingberg of Germany; sisters, Elizabeth and Hildegard Klingberg; great grandson, Christopher Schroeder, and great granddaughter, Bailey Elizabeth Dunlap. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
