Margaret Elaine Stoll, 83, of Fort Collins, died Oct. 17, 2007, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland after a short illness. Mrs. Stoll was born Aug. 5, 1924, in Sutherland, Neb., to Dr. James Perry Guffey and Florence Guffey. Mrs. Stoll lived for 43 years in Fort Collins and was a retired registered nurse working in Loveland and Fort Collins for many years. She loved bridge and belonged to several bridge clubs. She was raised and was a devout Catholic. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Louis David Stoll of Fort Collins; three sons, Robert Stoll of Wasilla, Alaska, Jim and his wife Karen Stoll of Fort Collins, and Joseph Stoll of Lone Tree; a daughter, Ellen, and her husband Randy Johnston of Fort Collins; a twin sister, Marcia Ellen, and her husband Robert Jones of Granbury, Texas; 10 grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Preceding Margaret in death are her parents and two brothers. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Neb., will be at a later date. The Rev. Donald Willette will officiate at the service.
