Margaret Louise Pierce, 96, of Fort Collins died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Columbine West Care Center.
Louise was born August 8, 1921 to Roy B. Campbell and Clara A. (Wolf) Campbell in Greeley, Colorado. She moved to Laporte, Colorado with her family when she was a small child. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1939. After graduation she moved back to Greeley with her parents where she met and married Paul O. Pierce on November 24, 1942. They spent their married life in Fort Collins.
Louise was employed in her 20's by Woolworths in Fort Collins. In her life she also worked for Meadow Gold Creamery in Greeley, DC Royer Insurance in Fort Collins and eventually retired from a long career at Waterpik in Fort Collins.
Louise was fortunate to live at home until the last 2 months before her death. She spent time visiting with friends and family.
Her parents, sister, and husband preceded her in death. She will truly be missed by the friends and family she has left behind.
A family service will be held at a later date in the Rocky Mountains that she loved to visit.
