Margaret Jimenez, 96, of Fort Collins, CO went to be with her Lord on March 26, 2019.
Margaret was born on January 18, 1923 in Cokedale, CO to Trinidad and Herminia (Jimenez) Gallardo. She married Charlie Jimenez in 1946 in Nebraska. Together they had five children.
Margaret was a wonderful woman who was well loved, is forever missed, and will always be cherished. Margaret grew up working in the beet fields of Colorado and Nebraska. She loved to tell stories of what her life was like growing up. Margaret had a kindness and sense of humor that would brighten your life. She loved to cook. She was well known for her delicious, authentic, Mexican food. She enjoyed shopping and long drives through the beautiful Colorado mountains.
She treasured time spent with family and friends. There were countless gatherings together full of food, laughter and wonderful memories.
Margaret was a follower of Christ and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Margaret was proud to retire from Teledyne WaterPik after 25 years of service.
Loved ones that cleared the path for Margaret include her parents, her husband, Charlie; her infant son, Charles; four sisters and one brother.
Loved ones that will miss Margaret until they meet again include her daughter, Laura Jimenez of Fort Collins; daughter Virginia Ryan (Max) of Loveland; son, Leonard Jimenez (Jayne) of Fort Collins; son, David Jimenez (Susan) of Windsor; daughter-in-law, Noi Jimenez of California; and Margaret's heart and joy, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
A Rosary will be recited at Bohlender Funeral Chapel at 7:00pm on Wednesday April 3, 2019. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
