Margaret Ellen Betteridge

Margaret Ellen Betteridge Taillie, 62, of Fort Collins, Colorado formerly of Mumford, New York died Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Predeceased by son, William James Betteridge. Survived by children, Laura Lynn, and Ian; brothers, Paul Taillie Carol, James Taillie Laurie; and a niece and nephews. Ellen was born in Mumford, NY, the daughter of Margaret Ellen Guthrie and H.
Marvin Taillie. She attended Caledonia-Mumford schools, and Monroe Community College. She left New York for Colorado in 1972. She worked as a nurse's aide and was employed by Hewlett Packard and currently, Avago Technologies. Ellen enjoyed camping, hiking and outdoor activities, photography and the company of her many friends. A memorial service is planned for Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Rd., Fort Collins. Inurnment will be held at Highland Cemetery in Wellington, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
