Margaret Mildred Barella

Margaret Mildred Barella was born on February 24, 1948. She was taken back home at the age of 73 on October 16, 2021. Mildred was an Angel here on earth who was willing to open her arms, heart and home for anyone in need; as safe haven so to speak. She dedicated her life to taking care of others. This was a way of life as well as a career choice for her. Mildred was a loving, caring, compassionate daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, godmother, cousin and friend.
She was born in Pueblo Colorado and raised mostly in the Fort Collins area. Graduating from Poudre High School.
Mildred was proceeded in death by her parents John and Reynolda Duran. Her husband Claude Barella. Her grandson Dominic Chunn-Barella and numerous family members.

Mildred is survived by a daughter Linda Barella and spouse Desire Barella, a son James Barella. Her grandchildren Elijah "Eli", Chloe, Xavier, Rosabella and Lilianna. Her two sisters Lucy Hernandez and Dinah Cordova. Her two brothers Louie Duran and Gilbert Duran, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Viewing will be held 12 - 6 pm with the Rosary to begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Meeting of the Body at the Church will begin at 9:30 am with the Funeral Mass to begin at 10 am on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Annunciation Chapel, 290 E. County Road 56. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Everyone is invited back to Annunciation Chapel for a reception immediately following the interment.
