Marc Dale Garcia

Marc Dale Garcia of Fort Collins passed away in the arms of his parents on January 22, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1976 to Leslee and Riley Garcia. Marc spent his childhood in Fort Collins attending Moore Elementary, Lincoln Jr. High, and Poudre High School where he graduated in 1995. On October 16, 2008 Marc became the proud father of Quinten Vegas Garcia, who quickly became the center of his world. Marc began working at Center Partners in September of 2003. He was promoted to supervisor in March of 2004 and became an Operations Manager in October of 2006. He was constantly looking for opportunities to better himself. Marc was a devoted father to his son, Q who was the love of his life. He cherished his family, remaining close to his Mommy and taking many wonderful trips with his Dad. Marc had an amazing smile which lit up a room. He had a knack for bringing people together and loved to entertain friends, new and old alike. Marc was a loyal and enthusiastic friend. In his free time, Marc enjoyed being with his son, visiting parks, going to CSU sporting events, eating out, and even dressing up as Santa and the Easter bunny to make holidays extra special. Marc loved riding his Harley and was always up for a concert or a sporting event with friends. Marc's parents are very proud of him for being an organ donor and they are thankful that his organs were able to help so many people. Marc is survived by his son Quinten; his parents, Leslee and Riley Garcia; and brother, Michael Garcia all of Fort Collins; aunts, Linda Anderson and Fern Norman both of Fort Collins and Leni "Cissy" Elliot of Colorado Springs; uncles, Ruben Rosemary Garcia of Lamirada, California. and Robert Mary Garcia of Fort Collins; as well as many cousins. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Frances and Wally Bujack; and Mercedes and Lloyd Garcia all of Fort Collins. Viewing will be on Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be held on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m., also at St Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marc Dale Garcia Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.
