Mahlon Paul Golden, 58 of Fort Collins went home to be with the Lord on September 6, 2022
He was born on March 23, 1964 in Urbana, Illinois to Thomas and Barbara Golden. He lived in Illinois until his family moved to Colorado in 1974. He also lived in Georgia, Maine, and Florida and most recently moved back to Colorado.
He attended Longmont Jr. High and Niwot High School in Colorado. He continued his education at North Metro Technical college in Acworth, Georgia He made a long career out of his love of construction which included fencing, electrical, building, and professional house painting.
Mahlon was a Christian man who loved the Lord and was not hesitant to share his faith with others.
He loved music, enjoyed being around people and could light up a room with his wit and smile. He will be remembered for his generous nature, kind heart, his love of people, and his awesome sense of humor.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Golden of Acworth, Georgia; a daughter Ashley and husband Dylan Beshel of Beach Park, Illinois; a brother Ronald and wife Penny Golden of Acworth, Georgia; a sister Debra Powers of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; a sister Cheryl Kosco of Woodstock, Georgia; and a sister Elizabeth and husband Timothy Pratt of Woodstock, Georgia.
He also leaves behind Four grandchildren, Twelve nieces and nephews and Numerous great nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his father Thomas Golden of Woodstock, Georgia; and his nephew Nathan Powers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 24, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Prayer and Praise Christian Fellowship, 6409 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA 30189
