Mae Geraldine Elliott, 85, of Timnath, died July 13, 2006, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Elliott was born May 9, 1921, on a farm in the Windsor area to Roland Ray Bates and Mabel Lucille Evans Bates. She was raised in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School. Gerry married James David Elliott on April 12, 1941, in Yuma, Ariz. They lived in California for five years and then moved to Timnath, where they have lived for the past 59 years. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of Timnath Presbyterian Church and the Timnath Garden Club. Mrs. Elliott is survived by her husband, James David Elliott; a son, James Rolland Elliott and his wife, Connie, of Fort Collins; one daughter, Jayne Lynn Sears and her husband, Mark, of Fort Collins; four grandchildren, James Elliott of Denver, Gary Elliott and his wife, Wendi, of Wellington, Alison Wright, and her husband, Augustine, of Coalinga, Calif., and Oliver Sears of Fort Collins; and four great-grandchildren, Travis, Savanah, Holly and Lacee Elliott. She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, James Gary Elliott; and a sister, Beverly Owen. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor. A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Monday at Timnath Presbyterian Church, 4020 Main St., Timnath. Pastor Margaret L. MacGowan will be officiating at the services. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Timnath Presbyterian Church in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
