Madeline Presley

Madeline Mae Presley, 78, of Wellington, died March 24, 2006, at a local nursing home. A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Clarence Killingsworth will officiate. Interment at Roselawn Cemetery. She was born Nov. 24, 1927, in Montezuma, Kan., to Hiriam Archibald Milligan and Cecil Maw Carlisle Milligan. She married John Marion Presley on Aug. 20, 1944, in Independence, Mo. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2003. She lived in Colorado for 60 years, including many years in Fort Collins and Wellington and was employed at a cook in various restaurants. Madeline is survived by her sons, Marion K. Presley, Larry Junior Presley and Michael Eugene Presley, all of Wellington; her daughters, Dora Morrison of Riverside, Calif., Mary Presley of Velencia, Calif., Betty Partner of Federal Way, Wash., and Brenda Terry of Palmdale, Calif.; her sisters, Joann and Edna; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
