M Diane (Prescott) Clippert, age 86, died June 22, 2022 in Fort Collins, CO.
Diane was born August 9, 1935 in Flint, MI to Raymond A. Prescott and Margaret M. (Ryan) Prescott.
She lived much of her life in Lansing, MI. Diane went to Resurrection Schools for 12 years and graduated from Resurrection High School in Lansing, MI in June of 1953. She then attended Michigan State University.
Diane married Richard G. Clippert in August of 1956. Together they had four children, Scott, Cheryl, Karen, and Brian. They later divorced.
She loved genealogical research and became a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution after proving an ancestor aided in achieving American independence. Other favorite hobbies included crafts, travel, and reading. Above all, Diane enjoyed her family.
Diane was preceded in death by two adult children, Karen M. Rook and Brian T. Clippert; her parents; a brother, Jimmy; and a very special aunt, Irma Yerkey.
Survivors are children, Scott M. Clippert of Battle Creek, MI and Cheryl A. Kruger (Dale) of Fort Collins, CO; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, July 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave., Lansing with Rev. Fr. Bill Lugger officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an organization of your choice.
