Lyle Louis Boehler, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the age of 88.
Lyle was born to parents Louis and Evelyn Boehler on January 25, 1927. He attended Java Junior High School and graduated from Helena High School in Helena Montana. Lyle was a Veteran having served in the US Navy during World War II.
Lyle married Evelyn Bartell in 1948. Their time together ended 65 years later when Evelyn passed away.
Lyle had a long career with the USDA Forest Service until his retirement in 1984.
Lyle is survived by his two children, Johanna (husband, Bill) Becker and Brook (wife, Karen) Boehler and four granddaughters, Jordan, Clare, Saskia, and Addie.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial gathering for Lyle and Evelyn on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at The Gardens on Spring Creek in Fort Collins, Colorado.
