Lucy Lee Eychner Bolley was born April 11, 1917 to A.L. and Effie Chedsey Mahan at the home on her grandparent's ranch near Coalmont, CO. She departed this life for her heavenly home January 1, 2011. Lucy grew up in the North Park region of Colorado, then moved with her family to Fort Collins. She married Delbert Lee Eychner July 4, 1936 and to this union four children were born, Nancy, Jean, Earl and Ed. They lived in the Fort Collins and Livermore area all their lives. Lucy was a homemaker with a few years spent working at CSU and doing volunteer work at her church home, the First Baptist of Fort Collins. Lee passed on February 5, 1965 and Lucy married George Bolley in 1969. He was a loving step-father and grandfather to Lucy's family and was greatly missed after his death February 5, 1987. She was a happy, content person with a great love for her family and friends. Lucy leaves her two sisters, Edith Northey and Florence Orr Howard; her children, Jean Anderson Larry of Haxtun CO., Earl Eychner of Fort Collins and Edward Lee Eychner Rhys of Gordo, AL. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jerry Geiger Darla, Gary Geiger Laura, Kristy Nance Chet, Karie Wilson Larry, Kathie Lindstadt Stan, John Anderson Renae, Troy Anderson Jeri Ann, Laurie Fetzer Tim and Eric Eychner, 23 great grandchildren and their spouses, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, also her loved nieces and nephews. Lucy was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph; her brother-in-law, Elwyn Northey; her children, Nancy and Marion Geiger, Lydee Dimick; great-granddaughter, Rebekha Lindstadt; niece, Joy Steigleder and a host of beloved relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Thursday, January 6 at 12:00 p.m. Memorials in Lucy's name may be given to the First Baptist Church of Fort Collins or other charity of choice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.
