Louise Padia, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished member of her family, passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 88, following a long and courageous struggle with kidney disease.

Born on April 6, 1938, Louise lived a life centered around the people she loved most. Her family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, strength, and treasured memories.

Louise will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her strength through difficult times, and the special way she made those around her feel cared for. Even throughout her battle with kidney disease, her love for her family remained at the heart of who she was.

Louise also had a great love for knitting and spent many hours creating beautiful blankets, shawls, and other handmade pieces for those she loved. These treasured gifts will remain a lasting reminder of her warmth, creativity, and love.

Louise was preceded in death by Leonard Padia, Rosendo Chavez, Simonita Aragon, Roy Chavez, Joe Chavez, Albino Chavez, Henry Chavez, Loyd Chavez, Martha Padia, Mary Valdez, Elenor Rivera, Susie Chavez, and Dan Chavez.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bernie Padia; her sons, Philip Padia (Guadalupe Salazar) and Brian Padia; Lily Valdez, Gloria Ortiz, Joe Jr. Chavez, Helen Pulliam as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and many loved ones and friends.

To her family, Louise was a source of comfort, strength, laughter, and unconditional love. The celebrations, quiet moments, traditions, and memories shared with her will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

While her passing leaves an immeasurable space in the hearts of her family, there is comfort in knowing Louise is now at peace.

Louise will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her memory will continue to live on through her family, the stories they share, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm, Friday, August 14th, 2026 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
