Lorraine Kennedy Palmer

Lorraine Kennedy Palmer, 83, of Fort Collins, Colorado died at Lemay Health and Rehabilitation Center on December 10, 2012. Lorraine was born to Melvin and Lerinda Kennedy in Ogden, Utah on August 22, 1929. She was the eldest of three children and a lifelong member of the LDS church. She lived in Fort Collins, Colorado since 1994. Prior to moving to Fort Collins, she lived for many years in Mesa, Arizona with her husband Robert Palmer. Survivors include her children Michael Jernberg and Denise Jernberg of Fort Collins; Debbie Jernberg of Kailua, Hawaii; David Jernberg of Jackson, Wyoming; and Douglas Jernberg of Weed, California; grandchildren Chris King of Waverly, Colorado, Alanna King and Jeffrey Jernberg of Fort Collins; Erik Jernberg and Kristen Jernberg of Jackson, Wyoming; and great-grandchildren Peyton King and Jasmine King of Waverley, Colorado. Preceding her in death include her husband Robert Palmer, her son Leland Jernberg, and her brothers Randall Kennedy and Donald Kennedy. Services will be held at the LDS Church Stetson Creek Ward 6521 Carmichael Ave., Fort Collins on December 26th at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be held at the same location at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
