Lorraine Madison Essig

Lorraine Madison Essig of Loveland passed away at the age of 93 on January 28, 2014. She was born in Dodge City, Kansas on December 3, 1920 to Alpha Paul and Ferne M. Emrie. Lorraine married her first husband, Dewey Fields, Jr., and they became parents to a daughter, Janice Lorraine. Lorraine is survived by her second husband of 53 years, Wayne Essig; daughter, Janice L. Bass Robert; son, Byron Essig Leah; and brother, Paul L. Emrie Glenda; grandchildren, Deborah Preach Randy of Phoenix, and Scott Essig Amanda of Austin, Texas; great grandchildren, Ashley Preach and RJ Preach of Phoenix. Lorraine was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel., 121 W.
