Linda S Krause was born on June 11th, 1948, and passed away on October 15th, 2023 in Fort
Collins, Colorado. Linda lived in northern CO most of her life. She graduated from Poudre High
School in 1966 and went on to Barnes School of Commerce to receive her associate's degree in
1968. Linda started working at Colorado State University in 1966 working various jobs around
campus. She worked hard and eventually ended up being the Professional Hospital
Administrator at the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She worked at CSU for over 40 years
and retired in 2012.
Linda was a kind and hardworking woman. She loved animals, candles, drawing, house
dresses, and Carmex lip balm. She owned multiple pugs through the years along with other
special pets. She loved any berry-scented candle and had a great selection to show it. She was
great at drawing, especially horses. And if you knew anything about Linda you knew she lived in
house dresses everyone called muu-muus, which came in every pattern and color you can
imagine, and everywhere she went she always had a jar of Carmex.
Linda is survived by her son Jason Krause, daughter in law Renee Krause, two granddaughters
Savannah and Ashlyn Krause, brother Terry Sapp, niece Amy Sapp, nephew Jeff Sapp and
sister Debbi Sapp, nephew Chad Sapp, and great-niece Eva Sapp. Linda is preceded in death
by her son Justin Krause, parents Betty Wiesmiller and Hubert Sapp, and Grandparents Alex
and Eva Wiesmiller.
