Linda Marie Beauvais (née Fiechtl) died peacefully in Ft. Collins, Colorado on July 21, 2016 at the age of 71.
Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Fred; her daughter, Amy (Tony); her son, Gary (Melissa) and her four cherished grandchildren, Max (20), Gigi (18), Anna (16) and Adam (15). She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gladys Fiechtl of Pueblo, Colorado.
Linda was born on December 29, 1944 in Pueblo, Colorado. She graduated from Pueblo Catholic High School in 1962, from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in mathematics, and from Colorado State University with a Masters in Computer Science.
Linda married Fred, her high school sweetheart, in 1965. After moving to Ft. Collins, Linda worked for 20 years at Hewlett Packard as a Programmer and Project Manager. Twenty five years ago Linda beat the odds against advanced breast cancer. Her fierce determination carried her though the subsequent years of physical challenges and she earned the sobriquet of "one tough lady".
