Linda Beatrice Armijo Sutton

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Sutton. Linda was born Nov. 8, 1954, to Jose & Conferina Lucero in Raton, New Mexico. She was then adopted by her mother's sister and brother-in-law, Joe and Bennie Armijo. Linda was raised as the only child of Joe & Bennie but stayed close to her Lucero family. Both families moved from Cimmaron, New Mexico to Fort Collins, Colorado when Linda was an infant. She spent her life here in Fort Collins. She graduated from Poudre High School in 1973. She married and had 2 children, Jason and Patricia Sutton. Linda was a longtime co-manager of Taco John's on the corner of College Ave and Cherry St.

Linda is survived by her children, Jason (Mandy) and Tricia, and 2 grandchildren, Kara & Avrey. Her Lucero family siblings; Elsie (Gilbert) Martinez, Ruby Cruz, Paul (MaryJo) Lucero, Mary Shunn, Rosie (Eugene) Yardley, Josie Stever, Joe (Kathy) Lucero and Sam Lucero.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe & Bennie Armijo and Jose & Conferina Lucero, brothers Desiderio Lucero & Larry Lucero, sister Kathy Lucero-Bonnett.

A service will be held for Linda on October 28th at Holy Family Church, where she was a lifelong member. The Rosary will be at 11:30 and mass at noon.
