Lillian Martinez, 84, of Fort Collins, died December 14, 2012 in her daughter's residence. Lillian was born in Lyons, Colorado to Tobias Duran and Maria Cleotilde Mondragon Duran. She was raised and lived all of her life in Ft. Collins. Lillian married Frank Martinez, Sr. on November 10, 1946 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Lillian worked 20 years at Colorado State University in the Dining Services. Lillian's favorite hobby was her family. She was a fantastic mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed volunteering at the church she attended, Consider the Cost Family Center. Survivors include her children, Frank Martinez, Jr., Toby Martinez Conception, Robert Martinez Janie, Alex Martinez Karen, Eleanor L. Gamino Jose, Jo-Ann Sanchez Humberto, Patricia Gonzales Antonio, and Esmeralda Chacon Jim all of Ft. Collins; a brother, Jose Miramon Duran Shiree, 20 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. Preceding Lillian in death are her parents, her husband Frank Martinez Sr, four brothers: Philip, Roberto, John, and Bentura Duran, four sisters: Elva Blea, Juana Duran, Magdalena Romero, Matina Trujillo, two grandchildren: Joe Gamino and Jolene Phyllis Martinez, and one great-grandchild Reina Alejandra Rios. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Templo Betel Assembly of God Church, 600 9th Street. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
