Lillian "Ann" (Newbury) Hixson of Fort Collins, died on May 19, 2015.
Ann was born on April 24, 1932 in Denver, CO and was a 3rd generation Coloradoan, where she was a great wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She married Robert "Bob" Hixson on July 21, 1953.
Ann worked for many of Bob's businesses, then landing for several years at Sterling Sand & Gravel, then for 10 years at CD Fasteners.
Ann is preceded in death by her mother and father and younger sister. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; 2 sons, Bob, Jr. and Steve (Beth); 2 daughters, Cathy Heiney (Joe) and Kelly Hixson (Steve B.); 4 grandchildren, Brad Hixson (Allison), Rod Hixson (Sarah), Stephanie Heiney and Jennifer Heiney (Jim), and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11: 00 am at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
