Listen to Obituary
Leslie "Les" Laughlin, 77, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on May 30, 1948, in West Virginia, Les was the son of Lawrence and Nona Laughlin (O'Daniel).

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Lynn; his children, Larry and Lynda (Tim); grandchildren, Allie, Sam (Josh), Christopher, Jesseca and Mike (Toni); and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Miles, and Eloise. He is also survived by his sister Donna and brother Paul (Gladys) and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his immediate family, Les was affectionately known by many names—Les, Honey, Dad, Grandpa, Pawpaw, Po Po, Brother, Uncle, Buddy, Friend—each one a reflection of the deep love, connection, and impact he had on those around him. His sense of humor, warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be remembered by all who knew him.

Les spent 63 years in West Virginia, where he built a meaningful life, a fulfilling career, and a loving family. In his later years, he made his home in Colorado. He found joy in fishing, golfing, and playing games, but nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with those he loved. Les was also a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Temple and gave the gift of life through Donor Alliance.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the exceptional care team at Poudre Valley Hospital PCU. Their compassion, kindness, and attentive care brightened Les's time there, and we are deeply grateful for all they did.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sutton officiating. at Calvary Baptist Temple, 2420 Laporte Ave, Fort Collins, Colorado 80521.

All are welcome to attend.
