Leslee Rene Allison

Leslee Allison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 after a short illness. She was born on October 24, 1948 in Waterloo, Iowa and moved to Fort Collins, CO, in 1952 with her parents. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic School and Fort Collins High School, graduating in 1968. She held several jobs during her career but especially loved her work and her colleagues at the Hewlett Packard facility library. After Leslee retired, she spent winters in Mesa, AZ with her parents. She loved meeting people, spending time with her friends and especially enjoyed playing shuffleboard. She had a beautiful voice and liked Christmas caroling for the shut-ins within the Apache Wells community in Mesa, AZ. She had the opportunity to travel to most states, Canada, Mexico and several countries in Europe with her family. She enjoyed reading and watching mysteries and musicals, she was an avid movie-goer and loved going to the dinner theatre, shopping and dining out. She also collected stuffed animals, porcelain angels and spoons from her adventures.

Leslee was a devoted daughter, caring for her parents both in Arizona and Colorado until the time of her death. She was a loving sister, sister-in-law and aunt and was happiest when surrounded by family. One of the family's favorite memories of Leslee is how much she loved babies and the time she spent holding her infant nieces and nephew and rocking them to sleep.

Leslee is survived by her loving parents, Leslie and Clarissa Allison, and brothers and sisters: Chris (Barb) Allison of Fort Collins, CO; Valerie (J.) Moody of Windsor, CO; Annette (Tom) Leazer of Windsor, CO; and Ritchie (Angelica) Allison of Fort Collins, CO. She is also survived by her nephew (Michael), nieces (Jacquelyn, Halei, Yendri and Amiey) and great nephew and niece (Marcus and Avery). Her niece (Chrissa) preceded her in death.

Leslee was a blessing to her family and friends and she cherished these relationships above all else. She touched many people in her lifetime and will be remembered for her authentic joy, beautiful smile, and the love she shared with everyone. She will be greatly missed! We will celebrate her life with a memorial Mass on June 28, 2019 at 2:00 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church followed by a dinner reception at 3:00 in the church hall.
