Leonard "Lenny" Robert Ruibal

Leonard Robert Ruibal (Lenny) passed away on January 13, 2016. Lenny was born on April 21, 1955 in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Joseph E. Ruibal and Flora N. Ruibal. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, two brothers, Dan and James P. (JP), and one great-grandson, Valentino.

Lenny is survived by his wife, Barb, daughters Andrea and April and Grandchildren, Alex, Campbell, Cole and Lyric; as well as two Great Grandchildren Ulysses and Bella (Born January 15, 2016). Also surviving are his brothers, Mike, Ed, Rudy and Larry and his sister Josie. We also can't forget his faithful companion, Bart.

Lenny was a very gregarious, ornery, loving, committed and loyal husband, father, grandpa, brother and uncle. He loved his family with devotion. Lenny was always happy visiting, partying, or just spending time with the people he loved and his longtime friends (which were many). Lenny will be remembered for his great smile, his "pearls" of wisdom to his nephews, his loyalty and guardianship to his family and friends and his beautiful yard.

He left us suddenly, but we are left with his legacy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016, 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
