Leonard Lee Kechter, 76, of Fort Collins, passed away at Poudre Valley Hospital on January 13, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
Leonard was born to Conrad and Molly Kechter on May 6, 1943 in Fort Collins where his family farmed. One of three children, his sister Eleanor Jordan survives him; as well as his wife June I. Kechter; two children, Rhonda and Randy; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Kechter.
Leonard graduated from Fort Collins High School. After high school he worked at Ranch Way Feeds. Later, he started in construction where he worked as a supervisor for many years. Leonard then found himself at Trans Pro with a team and a job he really liked and enjoyed.
Leonard also liked football and a few other tv sports, but best of all he loved to go fishing.
He will be missed very much.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive Street on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
