Leon Feifer, age 99 of Fort Collins passed away October 15, 2017 from heart failure. He was born in Liberty, New York on July 6, 1918. He married Earlene Hain in 1943 who remained the love of his life for 74 years. Together they had three children, Lannis Feifer, Monte Feifer, and Marsha Schmidt. They were blessed with a granddaughter, Kimberlee Carlson and a great granddaughter, Ava Carlson.
Leon served with honor in the U. S. Army in Europe during WWII. He had a career with the U. S. Forest Service for thirty years.
He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, gentle nature, and compassionate spirit. He will live in our hearts forever.
A service honoring his life will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, Friday, October 20, at 2 p.m.
