Born March 6, 1945, Passed away July 19, 2022 at 77 years old. He was blessed to be married to Barbara Jean (Bobbie) Williams for 51 years. They lived in the Laporte area their entire lives where they raised three boys: Ronnie (Janell), Donnie (Patty), and Carl (Nikki). He is also survived by his siblings Richard, Pat, Jim and their spouses Donna, Danny and Jackie. Grandchildren: Tyler Jack, Dillon, Katie, Greg, Larry, Candyce, Jerome, Josh, Lucas, Chase and thirteen great grandchildren. Additional family in the Walden area includes the VanValkenburgs, Hansons & Wyatts. He was preceded in passing by his mother Pearl, father Mac, younger brother Tom and lifelong friend Larry Tamlin.

His life's work began in North Park working on the VanValkenburg Ranch, followed by his service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His civilian work continued with Cowan Concrete and Mobile Premix before starting his own block and masonry company, Clay Products. He later retired from Simplot and the Poudre R1 School District.

He loved his time in the mountains and cherished hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. He would always have his pup Freckles by his side.

After retirement, you would find Larry with his lifelong friends at Vern's for "Tea Time", reminiscing who has the biggest bull elk or brown trout, and football bets.

His family was his cornerstone and he never declined a call from a friend or his Uncle Pete.

Larry will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), friend and mountain man. Rest easy Larry and watch over us all.
