Laurine P. Richmond, 75, of Fort Collins, died April 15, 2005, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Richmond was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Page, Neb., to Lawrence W. Finley and Bernice M. Finley. Her family moved to Fort Collins in 1933 and she attended Fort Collins schools and graduated from Fort Collins High School. Mrs. Richmond married John B. Richmond and lived in Fort Collins until 1958. They then moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and returned to Fort Collins in 1965. Laurine worked in photography for many years, doing photo retouching and oils for Danite Photo and also Skillman Photography. She also worked at CSU in education and media-photo lab for six years, and then worked 10 years at Woodward Governor until her retirement. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge. Mrs. Richmond is survived by her sons, Dan and Larry Richmond; a daughter, Linda Billiet; one sister, Wilma Sidman; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Richmond is preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, brother, Joe Finley, and best friend and companion, Harold Newman. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Geller will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Larimer County in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
