Larry Paul Smith

Larry Paul Smith, 53, of Fort Collins, died January 6, 2010 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Smith was born November 3, 1956 in Forest, Mississippi to Ellis Smith and Ruby Lee "White" Smith. Larry married Robin L. Gilbert Smith on March 8, 1999 in Fort Collins. Mr. Smith worked as maintanence laborer; at Super WalMart, Forney Industires and Manpower. Larry was a loving husband, father, familyman, friend and co-worker. Survivors include his wife, Robin L. Smith; son, Tyrone Gilbert of Fort Collins; daughters, Tosha and Crystal Gilbert of Fort Collins; brothers, Ellis Smith, Sr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, George Lee Smith of Forest, Mississippi; sisters, Violet Peavy and Rosa Mae Peavy both of Forest, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Je'onya and Je'Lohn Nelson; mother and father in law; sisters and brothers in law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. Preceding Larry in death are his parents, Ellis and Ruby Lee Smith; and one grandson, Jerome Gale Nelsen, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dave Williams and Deacon Ellis Smith will officiate at the service.
