Larry James Ortivez

Larry James Ortivez, 47, of Fort Collins, died December 28, 2013. Mr. Ortivez was born July 22, 1966 in Fort Collins to Louie and Della Ortivez. Larry married Annette Duran in 1995 and they have been married for twenty five years. Larry lived in Fort Collins all of his life graduating from Poudre High School in 1985. Larry worked at the Plantorium Greenhouse in Laporte for twenty five years. The last three years he worked for King Soopers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to the mountains, car shows, and rebuilding his 1965 Mustang. Survivors include his wife, Annette; daughters, Deidre Duran and Taylor Ortivez both of Fort Collins; parents, Louie and Della Ortivez of Fort Collins; sisters, Annette Rivas of Fort Collins and Jeannette Fry of Adams, Nebraska. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
