Kurtis Soeby 18, passed away May 28th at Denver Health Medical Center from injuries sustained from an automobile accident on May 25th. Kurtis was born May 9th, 1987. He was a junior at Berthoud High School. Kurtis enjoyed camping, fishing, snowboarding, putt-putt golf, and playing video games with his brother. He was a gifted wrestler since the age of 6 and was on the varsity wrestling team at Berthoud High School. Kurtis looked forward to wrestling in the state competition with his brother, and had aspirations of joining the United States Air Force after graduation next year. Kurtis enjoyed life to the fullest with many family and friends.
Kurtis is survived and loved by his twin brother Kyle Soeby of Berthoud. Father, Curt Soeby of Berthoud, mother Tami Stillwell, stepfather Mike Stillwell of Loveland. Sisters, Jenny Cress and spouse Travis Cress of Loveland, Kristine Eisert and spouse Justin Eisert of Ramstein AB Germany. Grandparents, Gary and Gail Gosage of Colorado Springs, Donald Soeby of Berthoud. One nephew Tyler Eisert and two nieces Alyssa and Breanna Eisert all of Ramstein AB Germany. Aunts, Cindy Lansdowne and spouse Bill Lansdowne of Vail, Kandy Edsall and spouse Ron Edsall of Folsom California, Dawn Brock and Spouse Greg Brock of Colorado Springs. Many cousins and the family dog Jay. Preceeded in death by an Aunt, Susie Frank 1989 and a cousin Tanya Edsall 2001. Funeral Services will be held Friday June 3rd at Faith Evangelical Church, 2707 N. Wilson Loveland, at 4pm. Reception to follow at Berthoud High School auditorium at 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kurtis Soeby Memorial Fund, in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, Colorado 80524.
