Kris passed away on November 25th 2022, at home after a 2 year battle with several health issues. Kris was born in Denver, Colorado. He lived in Ft Collins the majority of his life. Kris graduated Fort Collins High School and went on to get a degree from Western State College in Gunnison CO. With a BA in Business and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

He went on to be a realtor for many years getting the top producer in 2000 and joining the 3 million dollar club. After his father retired, he took over the family business Erickson Financial in Ft. Collins as a financial Advisor and Tax Preparer. He continued to be of service to his community, being an advisor until his health no longer allowed him to continue.

In 2008 he married his life partner Jimmie L. Shannon. Kris was an avid skier and frequented many concerts. He loved the mountains, camping, rv traveling, dogs, and spending time with family and friends.

Kris is survived by his brother Kjell Erickson and his wife Patty. His husband Jimmie L. Shannon and 3 stepchildren Kristi, Katie, Kellie and their families and 6 grandchildren and 1 nephew and 2 nieces.

Kris was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Erickson, his mother June Erickson, and his sister Karlin Cordova.

A celebration of life will be held at the Marriott Fort Collins, 350 E. Horsetooth Rd., Ft. Collins, CO 80525 on Saturday December 3rd from 2-4pm.
