Kreg Michael Adams went to be with Jesus on the evening of November 18, 2021 at the age of 74. He passed after a two year long struggle from a variety of health complications. He died at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO and spent his last moments with family and friends by his side. He is now out of pain and in the arms of his Lord and Savior.
Kreg was born in Deadwood, SD on September 12, 1947 to Donald and Oja Mae Adams (Edwards). He attended high school in Rapid City, SD. After college Kreg relocated to Denver, CO in the 70's and eventually made his way up to Loveland, CO where he met and married Terry Gilmour (Ruth) on March 21, 1987. He adopted Terry's daughter Jasmine Gilmour on July 10, 1990. The family attended First Christian Church in Loveland and moved to Fort Collins in 1993. Kreg and Terry parted ways in 1998 and his daughter Jasmine remained a huge part of his life.
Kreg worked in Loveland and Fort Collins for Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies and Avago, cumulatively he worked for over 30 years in water purification in their chip manufacturing and retired in February of 2013.
Kreg was a big family man who was always very active in church and spending time with those he loved. He enjoyed serving in sound engineering, providing his expertise and sound equipment to several different church communities around Loveland and Berthoud, CO. He attended First Christian Church and Grace Community Church in Loveland for many years and then attended Calvary Chapel in Berthoud. He found so much joy in serving the church community and formed many friendships along the way.
Kreg made an impact on all the lives he touched, always the first one to show up and help out. He would give the shirt off his back and was fiercely loyal with a wicked sarcastic sense of humor. Kreg loved everything about Christmas, cooking, woodworking as well as rebuilding classic cars.
He is survived by his daughter Jasmine Coppin (Adams/Gilmour), son-in-law Thomas Coppin, and grandchildren Donato and Nahveea.
Per Kreg's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Calvary Chapel Berthoud, PO Box 1515, Berthoud, CO 80513
