Kimberly L Flynn, age 58, of Plano, Texas passed away suddenly on June 17th, 2023 in Fort Collins, Colorado while vacationing in the mountains.
Kim was born on June 28th, 1964, in St Joseph, Missouri to Warren L and Sylvia L Cluck. She was raised in the St. Joseph and Savannah area and graduated from Savannah High School with the class of 1982. Kim attended the University of Missouri after high school and graduated from UMKC with a BA of Management in 1987 and an MBA in 1990.
Kim married Daniel B Flynn on May 28th, 1994 in Plano, Texas with a large contingent of family and friends in attendance. Kim and Dan made their home in the Plano, Texas area for nearly 30 years prior to Kim's passing.
Kim was a Human Resources professional and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Kim had a long and distinguished career with many top-tier companies including Texas Instruments, AT&T Wireless, McDonald's, RIM and others.
Kim is survived by her husband, Dan, her father, Warren, her uncle Leland DeLong and her siblings Carla Smith (partner Roger Huss), Christopher Cluck (wife Teresa) and Lisa.
Kim was blessed with a large and loving family of in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a great network of friends and work colleagues – she will be greatly missed by all.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia, on June 16, 2017.
Kim is laid to rest in Belmont Cemetery in Wathena, Kansas right next to her mother, Sylvia.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local battered woman's shelter since supporting these vulnerable women was one of Kim's passions in life.
