Khristine Lewis

Khristine Marie Maycroft/Lewis passed away Jan. 9, 2008, at Hospice of Larimer County at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. She was 37 years old. A closed casket service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Fort Collins Seventh-day Adventist Church, pastors Paul Eagan and John Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Khristine was born Aug. 14, 1970, in Rockford, Ill., to Eugene and Louise Maycroft. She graduated from Campion Academy in Loveland in1988, then attended Andrews University in Barrien Springs, Mich. She returned home to Fort Collins the following year. Khristine wed Phillip Lewis in the Fort Collins SDA Church on June 23, 1991. In April 1995 their firstborn son, Zackary Phillip Emmanual Lewis, was born followed by Joshua Michael Emmanuel Lewis in June 1998. From 2003 to 2005, Khristine attended IBMC witha 4.0 GPA and graduated with a paralegal associate's degree in August 2005 shortly after Khristine secured a position with Hill & Hill, Attorneys at Law. She was employed there until her death. Khristine was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Maycroft in 2005. She left behind a closely knit extended family, her husband, Phillip Lewis; sons, Zack and Josh Lewis; parents, Gene and Louise Maycroft; parents-in-law, Luke and Chris Emmanuel; grandparents, Florence Maycroft, Clifford and Maybel Partlo; brothers, Larry, Jeremy and David Maycroft; sisters-in-law, Joy, Dahlie and Joanne Maycroft; nieces, Alex Joliene and Makayla Maycroft; and one nephew, Jaiden Maycroft Memorial contributions go to Zackary and Joshua's educational fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
