Kevin Lucas McGuire, 44, of Fort Collins, died Aug. 10, 2007, at Medical Center of the Rockies following a traumatic motorcycle accident. Kevin was born March 6, 1963, in Los Angeles to Richard McGuire and Joyce Colvett Chase of Modesto, Calif. He served six years in the U.S. Navy as a submariner. He married Tracy D. Parkhurst McGuire on Aug. 6, 1988, in Palos Verdes, Calif. They lived the last three years in Fort Collins and he was employed as a senior project manager at The Neenan Company. Kevin coached teeball in the Fort Collins Youth Baseball Association and loved playing golf in the twilight league at Collindale Golf Course. He loved his Harley Davidson and was an avid CSU fan. Most of all he loved his wife and family dearly and touched all the hearts of those who met him. Kevin is survived by his wife, Tracy; two sons, Kevin Matthew McGuire, age 12, Rory Joseph McGuire, age 6; a daughter, Molly Grace McGurie, age 15, all of Fort Collins; his mother, Joyce Chase of Modesto, Calif.; four brothers, Richard Joshua McGuire of Kremmling, James Jeffrey and Sean Gabriel McGuire, both of Modesto, Calif., and Richard Webb of Westchester, Calif.; serveral uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Richard McGuire. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
