Kenneth "Ken" Paul Lawrence

Kenneth "Ken" Paul Lawrence of Laporte, CO passed away July 10, 2017 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Ken was born April 25, 1952 in Laporte to Paul and Louise Lawrence. Ken served his country as a Seabee in the Navy. He was a farmer and rancher for most of his life. He also worked at Colorado State University, the City of Ft. Collins, and Kincaid Tree Surgery. Ken loved woodworking, music, being a father, and a grandfather. He was generous and had a huge heart. Survivors include his daughters, Colleen Michele Lawrence of Williamsburg, Virginia and Tiffany Marie Lawrence and her husband, Chris Inglis of Portland, Oregon; and Melissa Kling; one brother, Harold Lawrence and his wife, Cathy of Linden, Texas; two sisters, Norma Terrell and her husband, Gern of Rugen, Colorado and Shirley Yeamans and her husband, Joe of Paonia, Colorado; four grandchildren, Gabby, Mike, Logan, and Zoey; Preceding Ken in death are his parents. Those who desire may view Friday 4 – 6 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, at Ft. Collins Bible Church, 2550 S. Taft Hill Rd. Interment with military honors will be follow the funeral service at Roselawn Cemetery.
