Kenneth Jerome Brown

Kenneth Jerome Brown died Monday, December 30, 2013 at home in Evans, Colorado. He was born May 27, 1925 in Nishnabotna, Missouri to Ada Finetta Fox and Edward Newton Brown. He was one of twelve children. He married Evelyn Cordell in Troy, Kansas on July 6, 1946. Ken worked as a dairyman, as well as working for Grandview Cemetery and a ditch rider. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brown; three sons, Duane, Jim, and Marlin Brown; two daughters, Connie Bohlender and Vicki Dettman; two brothers, Harold and Melvin Brown and a sister, Delsey Sands; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jake. Services will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Wellington. Those who wish may view Mr. Brown from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
