Kenneth Beil

Kenneth K. Beil, 80, of Fort Collins, died Feb. 26, 2008, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Beil was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Northampton County, Pa., to Amendus Beil and Carrie Heckman Beil. He graduated from American High School in Chicago, Ill. Kenneth then served in the U.S. Army Air Corps 13th division during World War II in the Philippines. Kenneth married Dorothy "Dottie" Moyer on Aug. 5, 1950, in Zionsville, Pa. He was a supervisor at General Electric from 1947 to 1984, and he also worked for Black and Decker in Allentown. Mr. Beil moved to Fort Collins in 1991 from Allentown, Pa. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion George Beach Post No. 4, 32nd degree Mason in Allentown and a member of the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard. Survivors include his wife, Dottie Beil of Fort Collins; two sisters, Elsie Everhard of Allentown, Pa., and Dorothy Sandt of Wescoesville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
