On Thursday, July 19, the family and friends of Kelsey Helyn Graves lost a shining light in this world. Born February 23, 1999, to her parents, Rob and Lori Graves, Kelsey possessed a free spirit that energized every room she walked into. Kelsey was 13. She made friends with ease—regardless of age. She freely offered her sweet affection to family and friends. Hugging Kelsey was a complete joy. She approached life with a limitless zest for fun, playful beyond compare. She was silly and kind, funny and smart, fearless and beautiful. She will be missed beyond words. Kelsey is survived by her parents, Rob and Lori; her older siblings, Amber, 15, Trevor, 17, Allyx, 18, and Bryan, 21; her grandparents, Leonard and Judy Diggles, and Sherry Graves; her aunts, Cathy Diggles, Christine Houldsworth and husband, Scott, Sherry Holowach-McIntyre and husband, Ken, and, Sara Cummings and husband, Scott; her uncle, Warren Diggles; and, her 18 cousins. Kelsey is pre-deceased by her brother, Joshua Graves; her grandfather, Robert Graves; and, her aunt, Laura Graves. She will be missed by her dog, Sadie. The Graves family is encouraging donations to Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center in Kelsey's name. There is a link on the Morning Fresh Dairy website:
