Dr. Keith Holcomb, 92, of Fort Collins died Thursday, December 6th surrounded by family and friends. He was born October 27, 1920 in Carrington, North Dakota, to Cora Ethel Cooper Holcomb and Crayton Warren Holcomb. Keith graduated from high school in Grinnell, Iowa and served in the Army Air Corp from 1940 through 1945. He was a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack. He was a member of the American Legion through his entire adult life and was also a member of the Pearl Harbor Association. He was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. and did post-graduate work at Logan College of Chiropractic, St.Louis, Missouri. In 1945 Keith married Erma James in Lime Springs, Iowa. Dr. Holcomb was a Chiropractor, practicing in Fort Collins for more than 40 years. He was active in numerous professional organizations during his career. He was also very much involved in his community as a member of the First Methodist Church, Elks, Kiwanis and Poudre Golden K. His avocations included golf, bridge, wood carving, hiking and history. Keith is survived by a son, Daryl Dottie Holcomb of Castle Pines Colorado and daughter, Ann Holcomb Ken Sterling of Crystal Lakes, Colorado; a grandson, granddaughter, and 4 great grandsons. Preceding Keith in death is his wife, Erma. Dr. Holcomb was a Chiropractor, practicing in Fort Collins for more than 40 years. He was active in numerous professional organizations during his career. He was also very much involved in his community as a member of the First United Methodist Church, Elks, Kiwanis and Poudre Golden K. His avocations included golf, bridge, wood carving, hiking and history. A memorial service will be held, Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover. A private interment with military honors will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
