Keegan William Rice, 22 days old, left his loving family on Aug. 17, 2007, at Poudre Valley Hospital. Although here for a very short time, Keegan touched many lives, taught us many lessons and blessed us with his beautiful, big and expressive eyes. Words can not express how much he will be missed. Keegan is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Tammy Jo Rice; and his proud big brother, Tory James Rice. Other survivors include grandmothers, Trudy Shlikas and Alberta Rice; great-grandmother, Betty Collamer; aunt and uncle, Michele and Kevin Colburn; uncle and aunt, Scott and Jennifer Rice; and numerous cousins and pseudo aunts and uncles. Keegan was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Bill Rice. Special thanks to Dr. Warren James, Dr. Gary Ludwin, Dr. Jan Paisley, Dr. Carole Anderson and the incredible nursing staff at Poudre Valley Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel at 121 W. Olive St. in Fort Collins.
