Katsuko Takahashi, 87, passed away on January 16, 2024.
Katsuko Takahashi was born on March 30,1936, to Itsu and Kinzo Ishii in Tochigi-Ken, Japan.
She married Satoru Takahashi in June 1956 and raised two children, Chia and Hyogo. The family moved to Fort Collins from Japan in 1971.
She was a long-term employee for Hewlett Packard in Loveland and Fort Collins, CO. She also worked in various manufacturing companies around northern Colorado.
Katsuko enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching the Broncos. She loved to travel to hot springs around Colorado and Wyoming.
She was loving and caring. A devoted wife, mother and friend who always thought of others first.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kinzo and itsu Ishii, her brother Ryusuke, her sister Sumie and her son Hyogo.
She is survived by daughter Chia McLane and her husband Doug. Hyogo's wife Ann Takahahashi. Grandsons Kenneth, Michael, Andrew, Akio and Bobby. Great-grandchildren Kaylea, Addlyn, Emma, Tobias and Lukas.
A memorial service will be held on January 24, 2024 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive st. Fort Collins, CO 80524.
