Kathy Komara, Fort Collins. Native of Youngstown, Ohio. Daughter of Mae Wall and Willis Walker. Sept. 2, 1944-Dec. 23, 2007. For 63 short years she graced this Earth as a mother, friend, explorer, registered nurse, student, volunteer and care giver. Kathy unexpectedly passed surrounded by her family enveloped with love, serenity and beauty. She leaves us with her touch of kindness that made the world just a little more bearable, a constant thirst for knowledge and her no-nonsense flair for communicating that helped us all navigate through life. Her legacy continues through her two children, their spouses and her four granddogs. In her honor a celebration will be from 12 to 3 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Discovery Science Center, 705 E.
