Kathy Danner suddenly passed away on November 23 while at home with her husband. Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 27 years Russell (Gus), her amazing daughter Nikee Swango (Paul), and her precious grandchildren Aaliyah (8) and Cheyenne (1). Kathy is also survived by her mother Rita Lynch, her brother Tom Lynch (Kathy), and sisters Karen Zimny (Jim), Mikey Pavesich (Jimmy), and Colleen Quattrocki (Jim). On her husband's side, she is survived by her father-in-law Russ Danner (Gloria), sister-in-law Cathy Foust (Larry), and brothers-in-law Dan Danner (Betty), Ben Danner (Debi), Dave Danner (Therese), and Tim Danner (Deana). The family also includes numerous nieces and nephews that she guided served and protected over the years.
Kathy was born on January 28, 1955 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois. She spent her childhood on the South side of Chicago. She graduated from Carl Sandburg High School. She met Russell, who was the love of her live, while working at Wilton Manor in Wheaton. They were married at the Wilton Manor on January 28, 1989. She later relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband where they raised their daughter. Kathy loved children and animals. She also treasured time spent with family and friends.

Kathy will forever be remembered for her magnetic smile, her never ending concern for others, and her commitment to her family. Services to honor Kathy's wonderful spirit will be held at 2PM on Thursday December 1, 2016 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado (970-482-4244). Followed by a celebration of life to be held at Mo Jeaux's Bar and Grill 820 City Park Drive, Fort Collins, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation 13123 E. 16th Ave. Box 045 Aurora, Colorado 80045 in memory of her constant love and dedication to children.

We will miss Kathy terribly. Her favorite saying was "Live, Love, Laugh". She would expect us all to live by those words.
