Katherine Joyce Rhyner

Katherine Joyce Rhyner, Age 65, of Fort Collins, CO passed away peacefully on March 9th 2023 with her loving husband of 36 years by her side. Kathy spent most of her life in Fort Collins amongst family and friends. She was an amazing Mom to Jennifer and every other kid that walked through the door. She was an even more amazing Grandma to Avery and Grayson; and a loving Aunt/Grand-Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father Fred Ringler. She is survived by her Mother Donna Karns, Step-Father Jack Karns, Sister Sheryl Crego (Rod), Brother David Ringler (Sondra), Husband Mike Rhyner, Daughter Jennifer Veltman (Sean), Grandsons Avery and Grayson Veltman, and Dog Lexie.

Kathy was an avid scrapbooker, baker and crafter. She loved traveling with family, especially to the beach. Spent countless days camping in the mountains and at her cabin in Crystal Lakes. She loved lunches with her mom and sister, shopping and breakfast with The Girls, hosting gatherings and most of all spending time with the family and friends she loved so dearly.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at Windsong Estates Event Center on March 30th 2023 from 11am to 2pm.
In lieu of flower donations can be made to The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO www.WildAnimalSanctuary.org in her memory.
